Warranty

PLASMARGON factory warranty

Every PLASMARGON welder and plasma cutter is covered by a factory warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The full terms for your machine are printed in the booklet packed with it; this page summarises the same coverage and explains how to make a claim.

Coverage periods

  • Inverter and main board: 3 years from the date your order is delivered.
  • Torch and torch leads: 1 year from the date your order is delivered.
  • Consumables and wear parts are not covered. Electrodes, nozzles, tips, shields, contact tips, feed rollers, collets and O-rings wear out in normal use.

What is covered

The warranty covers failures that come from how the machine was built: an inverter or main board that fails in normal use, a faulty display or control, a torch that fails at a joint or cable that was defective from new, and similar manufacturing faults.

What is not covered

  • Damage from misuse, accident, or dropping the machine.
  • Running the machine on an input voltage outside its rated 110V / 220V range.
  • Welding or cutting beyond the rated duty cycle, or without the air supply or gas the process requires.
  • Repairs, modifications or disassembly by anyone other than PLASMARGON, including cut cables, replaced plugs or opened housings.
  • Consumables and wear parts.
  • Normal cosmetic wear, and damage caused by a dirty or inadequate power supply.

How to make a claim

Email tonsen1682025@163.com and include:

  1. Your order number.
  2. The machine model, and the serial number if it is printed on the unit.
  3. A description of the fault: what the machine does, and when it started.
  4. A short video or clear photos showing the machine's behaviour, including the display if the unit powers on.

What happens next

We diagnose remotely first, because many faults turn out to be a setting, an input voltage, or a worn consumable. If the fault is a covered defect we will, at our option, send the replacement part with fitting instructions, arrange a repair, or replace the machine.

We will confirm the shipping arrangement with you before anything is sent, and we will not ask you to return a machine until we have agreed how that is done.

Your statutory rights

This is a voluntary manufacturer's warranty. It sits alongside, and does not replace, any rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.
